Bourbon Glazed Bone-In Ham, Sweet Potato Saute, Sauteed Swiss Chard

A cohesive combination of flavors. The chard was rather unexpected. Previous eatings of chard left me thinking of why anyone would want to eat it based on its texture. This dish changed that perception. I just like sweet potatoes. The ham turned out to be pretty salty. The glaze more than made up for it giving it that earthy sugar/raw salt kinda thing.

This stuff is quite tasty. Comfort food. Just like it is supposed to be. Heavy. Using the ham from a previous dish made it quite filling. Not something to have daily for sure. This much dairy ( extra sharp cheddar, cups of milk, ounces of butter ) at one time could possibly do some damage.
