No bikes!

lot’s of nothing.

Recently (the month of December) life has been critical of my body.  Muscle spasms in the right leg have kept activity to a minimum.  The diagnosis of a degenerative disc that resulted in several ribs to dislodge themselves from my sternum (as well as the leg spasms) has added to the lazy life. Complete diet change and removal of self from liquids of joy have numbed the brain.  Lots of trips to South Scottsdale on the rack.  Lots of ibuprofen.  Lots of TV and nothing is on.

Quite the trip.

post trauma

This past week has been one of the most traumatic (physically) weeks in recent memory.  A change is in order.  A rider was needing to ride.  Thankfully, the trauma only put me down for a week.  Pretty much could do no more than walk from bed to car and from car to office chair and back to the car and then to the bed.

the problem:

the Bushnell people have a good idea for a fix for this. You see, it loosens after 3-4 hours of use. Before, I thought the fix was just to take it apart and rebuild it. No big deal. No such luck, it made so I can get 3/4 of a ride in, but not much more. So they sent me this:

the solution:

so, I will have to check it out.
