I have been wanting for YEARS to ride to Tom Thumb.  A quick loop that includes some fine singletrack that reminded me of some of the Pinnacle Peak Cactus Cup course of years ago.  Nice trails.

the way out.  the plan was to ride to the N. end of 136th street, but a shortage of water kept me to some roads till I hit power line dirt roads over to Reach 11.

Some new ability to use satellite images on the GPS device allowed easier navigation.  For sure.
